Books closure dates drives investor timing

Books closure dates remain a key reference point for investors, marking the final cut-off for eligibility to receive declared dividends.

In June 2026, multiple blue-chip firms have lined up closure dates, with investors required to act before deadlines to secure payouts.

Dividend payouts vary across companies

Dividend declarations vary across firms, with payouts including CIC Insurance Group Plc at KSh 0.13 per share, Jubilee Holdings Ltd at KSh 13.00, British American Tobacco Kenya Plc at KSh 60.00, and Kakuzi Plc at KSh 16.00.
