Kenya’s diplomatic stance

Kenya reaffirmed its long-standing commitment to peace, dialogue and multilateralism, stressing that sustainable solutions to global challenges must be anchored in inclusive diplomacy and respect for international law.

“Kenya has long stood as a steadfast advocate for peace, dialogue and the peaceful resolution of disputes through multilateral institutions and the community of nations,” the statement said.

Call for global cooperation

The Government emphasized that lasting solutions to global challenges require inclusive diplomacy, respect for international law and collective engagement from the international community.

“We believe that sustainable solutions to complex global challenges are best achieved through inclusive diplomacy, respect for international law and the collective wisdom of the international community,” it stated.

Economic relief and global impact

Kenya observed that the agreement offers relief to Africa and other regions that have faced economic strain from global instability, including rising fuel prices, supply chain disruptions and inflationary pressures.

It noted that de-escalation could support the reopening of key maritime routes such as the Strait of Hormuz, strengthening global energy security and trade flows.

Multilateralism and lasting Peace

Kenya reiterated its support for the United Nations Charter and regional institutions, urging all parties to uphold commitments and ensure the agreement delivers lasting peace.

“As a nation committed to multilateralism, Kenya reaffirms its support for the principles of the United Nations Charter and regional organizations in fostering dialogue and cooperation,” the statement said.
