Credit company spreads wings to Eldoret

Small and Medium Enterprises SMEs and start-ups in Eldoret are set to benefit from new financial solutions.

Speaking over the weekend after opening a new branch in Eldoret CEO Momentum credit Job Muriuki said that the new branch will be of great support to SMEs and start-ups as it will provides them with financial solutions such as business advisory and debt financing.

Muriuki said that the company has seen the need to open doors to the small businesses that have in the past expressed challenges in carrying out their operations.

He urged companies in the financial sector to foster relationships with SMEs in order to facilitate growth.

“ There is a crucial need to boost SMEs so that they can flourish into larger enterprises which can in turn offer more employment opportunities and grow the economy”, he said.

In the last three years the company has been investing millions of money by opening several branches countrywide.

Currently, Momentum has branches in Nairobi, Thika, Nakuru, Kitengela, Kisumu, Mombasa and Eldoret.

Muriuki further asserted that SMEs must play a role in adopting modern techniques in book in keeping and financial management so as to attract financiers.

‘” We have been offering financial solutions to more than 100 companies. We are even willing to partner with more companies in the future to boost our economy”, he said.
