Roots party presidential running mate Justina Wamae says she believes their manifesto with the party’s candidate Prof. George Wajackoyah has had a positive impact on Kenyans.

Justina opined that they have been able to change Kenyans’ ‘fixed’ mindset on political matters. At this point, she says Kenyans can make informed decisions on the ballot and are now able to ask politicians ‘real’ questions.

“I would say even if we don’t clinch this election, we’ve changed Kenyans’ mindset,” she said in an interview.

The Roots party has been touted as a counterweight in the August 9 polls against the two front runners Raila Odinga of the Azimio la Umoja -One Kenya coalition and William Ruto of Kenya Kwanza.

Justina on their ‘controversial’ manifesto

Justina also defended their unique concepts in their manifesto inclined to snake farming, legalising marijuana and importation of hyenas’ testicles owing to their gains in terms of employment and revenues.

“It’s high time that we change our mindset and look at Marijuana farming as an opportunity to expand the local industries, create employment and for export, ” she said.

The bubbly politician also took a swipe at the church for warning Kenyans against voting for the team saying the move would be a ‘mistake’ with ‘far-reaching consequences.’

“We are not against the church and after all, all, these things are God’s creation,” she said.
