Azimio La Umoja-One Kenya Coalition party running mate Martha Karua has said she is considering moving to the East African Court of Justice to appeal the verdict rendered by the Supreme Court on the presidential election petition filed by ODM leader Raila Odinga.

Speaking on Saturday, the Narc Kenya party leader underscored that it was impossible that they were not declared winners in the just-concluded August polls when the majority of the votes were won by Azimio.

She reiterated that the court did not deliver justice on the ruling that upheld President-elect William Ruto’s August 9 victory.

While noting that the decision was personal and not affiliated to Azimio, Karua stated that she will be taking a political break as she waits for the Supreme Court to issue a detailed judgmen on why they upheld Ruto’s win.

“Since the court said there is hot air, hot air balloon can take me to East Africa. I am actually considering whether to travel with a hot air balloon to discuss the matter,” she said.
