Ruto’s support in Nyamira drops as Raila asserts dominance – Tifa

Azimio la Umoja One Kenya Alliance flag bearer Raila Odinga has locked his Nyanza backyard putting a stop to Deputy President William Ruto’s onslaught – an opinion poll released by Tifa confirms.

The research firm on Thursday, July 14, 2022, released the results of a survey they conducted to assess the popularity of presidential candidates in select counties across the county.

According to the poll result released, Raila enjoys 58 per cent support in Nyamira county while Ruto’s popularity was rated at 26 per cent.

Tifa in their survey indicated that Raila increased his support in Nyamira county by 20 per cent while Ruto’s support declined.

Ruto campaigns in the backyard of Raila Odinga

The results of the survey conducted by Tifa were released on Thursday – the same day Ruto is storming Raila’s backyard in a bid to convince voters to support him.

The Kenya Kwanza leader will campaign in Kuria West Constituency, Migori County before holding several rallies in Nyamira county.

Tifa opinion poll also shows that Raila’s Orange Democratic Party (ODM) is the most popular political party in Nyamira, enjoying 44 per cent support.

ODM is the most popular political party followed by UDA – according to Tifa.
