Shabana FC witnessed a decline in both gate collections and attendance during their FKF Premier League match against KCB FC.

As revealed by the club’s released data, the number of tickets sold for this match stood at 1,181, reflecting a drop from the previous home game against Nzoia Sugar, where 1,939 tickets were sold.

443 VIP tickets were purchased at Ksh 300 each, generating Ksh 132,900, while 738 regular tickets were sold at Ksh 100 each, amounting to Ksh 73,800.

The total collection for this match reached Ksh 206,700, indicating a decrease of Ksh 95,800 compared to the game against Nzoia Sugar where they collected Ksh 302,500.

The club expressed gratitude to the fans who attended, acknowledging the vibrant display of support at Raila Odinga Stadium in Homa Bay.

“A total of 1,181 tickets were sold. VIP 443 Regular 738 Asante sana for all those who made it to Raila Odinga Stadium, Homabay for our match. It was great seeing the Stadium painted red and white. Looking forward to more of that from our wonderful fans,” the club announced.

The drop comes at a time when Shabana FC are actively exploring online ticketing and payment methods as part of their strategy to enhance sales.

Despite the drop in attendance, Shabana FC secured a point with a 1-1 draw against KCB. Brian Michira, assisted by Justine Omwendo, scored the opening goal for Shabana, while Francis Kahiro equalized for KCB in the 24th minute.
