Gor Mahia FC administration manager Ronald Ngala has pleaded with Gor Mahia fans to maintain sanity and comply with stadium regulations during the Sunday trip to Shabana FC in the Football Kenya Federation (FKF) Premier League fixture.

Gor is angling for the eagerly anticipated match-up against the Gusii-based team to be staged at the town’s county grounds.

In a joint presser that brought together officials from the two teams, the Football Kenya Federation officials, and the security sector, stakeholders, and sponsors on Saturday, January 10, 2025, Ngala implored fans from both sides to uphold sanity and come to the stadium with the sole intent of enjoying the football encounter.

Convinced with preparations

He expressed his approval of the security protocol and measures taken by the organizers ahead of the clash.

“We have participated in a thorough inspection of the facility, and we are convinced the stadium is in place, and we will have a good game,” he said.

He further sought to quell concerns of Gor Mahia fans who had been mulling over skipping the clash after its relocation to Gusii.

“My message to Gor Mahia fans, especially those who had not planned to watch the game: make plans and come. Please adhere to the instruction of how fan segregation has been done and the checking points.

He also urged them to arrive earlier, observe the stadium sitting arrangement, and stick to their designated stands on the pitch.

“Gor fans will occupy the right side of the stadium from the VIP section. They will occupy G12 and 13 with entrance through gates I and A for regular fans. The VIP fans will access through gate K,” he confirmed.

“We welcome all to enjoy the game. We hope it will be good for all. We are brothers, and we hope to have a good game for all,” he added.
