Musingu School have secured their spot in the final of the Kakamega County School games after a thrilling penalty shootout victory over hosts Kakamega School.

The match took place at Bukhungu Stadium with Musingu coached by former Green Commandos coach Brendan Mwinamo picking a 5-4 after a draw in regular time.

The first half of the game was tightly contested, with both teams displaying solid defensive performances that denied their opponents any scoring opportunities.

Despite some promising attacking plays, neither side could break the deadlock within the opening 45 minutes.

It was Kakamega School who struck first, finding the back of the net in the 61st minute to take a 1-0 lead.

However, Musingu School showcased their resilience and fighting spirit by responding swiftly.

They will now face Shanderema, who secured their spot in the final by beating Lugusi 4-2 in the first semi-final.
