Janet Okello has returned to the Kenya Lionesses squad after missing the Dubai Challenger Series.

She is the only change in the squad named by head coach Dennis Mwanja, who will lead the Lionesses in the Montevideo Series set for March 8–10.

Okello, who is playing in Japan, has returned and replaced Diana Kemunto.

Kenya will aim for a far better campaign after finishing second in the Dubai Series.

Meanwhile, Sheila Chajira has maintained her leadership role as she will captain the side that also has Naomi Amuguni, Judith Okumu, Stella Wafula, and speedster Sharon Auma, who have kept their places after featuring in the previous leg in Dubai.

Christabel Lindo, Sinaida Nyachio, Maureen Muritu, Phoebe Akinyi, and Terry Ayesa have also been included.

Kenya are in Pool B, which also has Belgium, Papua New Guinea, and Hong Kong.

China, the winners of the previous leg in the Middle East, are in Pool A alongside Poland, Czechia, and Paraguay, while Pool C has Argentina, Uganda, Thailand, and Mexico.
