The head coach of KCB Rugby Football Club, Curtis Olago, has exuded confidence as the highly-anticipated Floodlit Rugby Tournament approaches kick-off tomorrow at the Impala Club, Nairobi.

The bankers are determined to retain their title as they face Kenya Harlequin in the tournament’s opening round in the evening.

The team’s preparations have received a significant boost with the acquisition of props Wilhite Mususi and Nick Okullo, who recently joined KCB RFC from Kenya Harlequin and Blak Blad, respectively.

Olago expressed his enthusiasm for the team’s training and their readiness for the upcoming tournament.

“I am thrilled with the boys’ training so far as we gear up for the Floodlit tournament this weekend. We have been working tirelessly ahead of this competition, and I am convinced we have what it takes to emerge victorious. Our objective for the new season is to secure every trophy within our reach. Defending our crown will be pivotal in building momentum for the new Kenya Cup season,” stated KCB Head Coach Curtis Olago.

KCB RFC boasts a remarkable record, having clinched the Floodlit title a record nine times, with their most recent victory in last season’s competition when they defeated Nondescripts 20-3 in an enthralling rugby showdown at the same venue.
