It was mixed reactions for candidates and their supporters as the Football Kenya Federation (FKF) conducted it’s polls to elect leaders at the counties level.

A total of 40 counties took part in the excercise, electing leaders in the positions of chairman, secretary, treasurer, women representative and youth representative.

Out of the 48 counties in the FKF structure, four had opponents go unopposed while another four failed to conduct the exercise for different reasons.

According to the FKF Electoral Board officials, the four counties will have their elections on Saturday after all the challenges have been ironed out.

In Nyandarua candidates for the chairman and secretary positions tied in vote tallying and the exercise will be repeated on Saturday as well.
