Sports gaming giant Sportpesa have rewarded Gor Mahia, the champions of the Football Kenya Federation Premier League, with a bonus of Sh3.65m for their performance in the recently concluded season.

This, combined with previous rewards, brings the total to Sh8.15 million since their dramatic 20th league victory.

The team also received Sh1.5m from club patron Raila Odinga and an additional Sh3m from ICT Cabinet Secretary Eliud Owalo.

Sportpesa CEO Ronald Karauri expressed his congratulations to Gor Mahia and pledged further support as the team prepares for continental competition.

Gor Mahia Chairman Ambrose Rachier appreciated Sportpesa’s sponsorship and emphasised their commitment to CAF competitions in the new contract.

Head coach Jonathan McKinstry is expected to remain at the club for the upcoming season.
