FKF lowers ticket price ahead of Harambee Stars vs Seychelles clash
The Moi Sports Centre, Kasarani, is set for a charged atmosphere as the Harambee Stars take on Seychelles in a crucial international fixture on Tuesday, September 9, 2025, at 4:00 p.m. Fans are already gearing up for the clash, with excitement intensified by a flash ticket sale announced by the Football Kenya Federation (FKF).
In a statement posted on its official Facebook page on Sunday, September 7, 2025, FKF urged supporters to once again rally behind the national team, emphasising the crucial role fans have played in energising the Harambee Stars in past matches.
“You’ve backed The Harambee Stars in numbers, lifted the team, and made Kasarani electric!” the federation said, acknowledging the overwhelming support of Kenyan fans in filling the stadium and creating an electric matchday atmosphere.

To ensure more fans have access to the stadium and experience the live football action, FKF announced a flash ticket sale for the highly anticipated clash. The Gold tickets for the match are now available at Ksh500, an initiative aimed at making attendance more affordable and encouraging maximum turnout.
Initially, the gold ticket was priced at Ksh1,000.
“One last time at home this year, let’s fill the stands again!” FKF added, calling on fans to unite behind the Harambee Stars for their final home match of the year. The federation emphasised that the energy, chants, and support of fans at Kasarani have been instrumental in motivating players on the field, turning each match into a memorable spectacle.

The match against Seychelles comes at a pivotal moment as the national team seeks to consolidate its position in international fixtures and strengthen its squad cohesion ahead of upcoming tournaments. FKF’s focus on accessibility through ticket pricing is expected to draw families, students, and football enthusiasts from across Nairobi and beyond, ensuring a vibrant and diverse crowd.
Looking back: Kenya vs. Gambia
The Harambee Stars come into the Seychelles clash after a tough outing against Gambia on September 5, 2025. The match ended in a 3–1 defeat for Kenya, with the visitors taking an early lead in the first half. Despite a late goal from substitute Ryan Ogam in the 82nd minute, Kenya could not recover, and hopes of qualifying for the 2026 FIFA World Cup were extinguished.
The loss highlighted areas for improvement in Kenya’s squad, especially in integrating local talent with foreign-based players. FKF and the coaching staff are determined to use the upcoming match against Seychelles to boost morale and give fans a reason to celebrate the national team once more.

Fans are encouraged to secure their tickets early through the FKF online portal, where a flash sale offers a chance to watch the Harambee Stars in action at reduced prices.
With the stadium buzzing and national pride on full display, Kasarani promises a thrilling environment where supporters and players come together to celebrate Kenyan football. The FKF’s push for fan engagement and ticket affordability underscores the federation’s commitment to making the game inclusive and keeping the passion for football alive across the country.
