Premier League giants Gor Mahia and AFC Leopards will be among the teams that will play on Sunday, February 23, 2025, during the remaining Round of 64 matches of the Football Kenya Federation Cup.

Leopards will take on Nyanza Regional League side Dero FC at Siaya Stadium. Ingwe are favourites to win this game as the two sides meet again at the same stage of the competition since their 2017 showdown.

Then, AFC Leopards, eventual cup winners that season under coach Robert Matano, registered a huge victory, 15-1, in a game that was played in Kisumu.

Naturally, Dero FC are expected to enjoy the home advantage given that they will be motivated by their fans who are expected to fill the new stadium.

KSG Ogopa host Gor Mahia

Division Two outfit Kenya School of Government Ogopa FC will battle Gor Mahia at Dandora Stadium.

Going into the game, head coach Sinisa Mihic’s main concern should be the sharpness of his striking department, which has failed to find the back of the net in the last two games.

However, Gor Mahia are expected to fight hard and win in order to increase their chances of advancing further and eventually lift the trophy they last did in 2021.
