FKF Committee is not professional, says coach Aussems

AFC Leopards head coach Patrick Aussems has faulted Football Kenya Federation (FKF) Transitional committee for what he termed unprofessionalism  the manner they run of the league.

Last week, the Transitional committee forwarded the league restart to 24th of September from the earlier schedule on 10th September.

Speaking yesterday after their pre-season friendly match pitting AFC Leopards and Ulinzi Stars, the Belgium coach couldn’t hide his frustrations.

“We were set for the start of the league. Now one week ago, we were told we need to wait two more weeks. I think it’s a lack of respect for my job,” said Aussems.

“I know some other coaches don’t care or are used to working this way. But for me, I work to be a professional. Now I have to reschedule all my plans. It’s not a good point for Kenyan football because we change things before the beginning of the league. I think we should be more professional.”
