Following the conclusion of the opening round of the CAF World Cup qualifiers, Harambee Stars find themselves in fifth place in Pool F without any points.

In their opening match, Kenya lost 2-1 away to Gabon. Although Masoud Juma scored the first goal for Kenya, Gabon mounted a comeback, securing two goals and claiming victory in the Group F matchup.

Pool F is currently led by Ivory Coast, who secured a win and scored nine goals against Seychelles, earning them maximum points and a superior goal difference.

Burundi and Gabon follow with three points each and a goal difference of 1. Gambia is in fourth place with no points, while Seychelles sits at the bottom after conceding nine goals.

Pool A has Egypt at the top with three points, while Burkina Faso, Guinea-Bissau, Ethiopia, and Sierra Leone each have a point. Djibouti are currently without any points.

Senegal lead Pool B with three points, followed by DR Congo with three points as well. Sudan and Togo have one point each, while Mauritania and South Sudan have no points.

South Africa lead Pool C with three points, while Lesotho, Nigeria, Rwanda, and Zimbabwe each have a point. Benin are without any points in the pool.

Cameroon, with a superior goal difference, lead Pool D with three points, followed by Libya with three points as well. Angola and Cape Verde have one point each, while Eswatini and Mauritius have no points.

Zambia lead Pool E with three points, alongside Tanzania. Morocco are yet to play and have no points, while Niger and Congo have no points in the pool.

In Pool G, Algeria, Mozambique, and Guinea have three points each, holding the first three slots. Botswana, Uganda, and Somalia are without any points.

Tunisia lead Pool H with three points and a significant goal difference. Equatorial Guinea and Malawi have also earned three points each, while Liberia, Namibia, and Sao Tome have no points.

In Pool I, Comoros, Mali, and Ghana each have three points, leading the group. Madagascar, Central African Republic, and Chad have no points.
