Scriven, who was born in Kenya to an English father and a Kenyan mother, received a call-up to the Kenya national team in March 2023. He made his national team debut in a friendly match against Iran on March 28, 2023.

Despite the individual success of Scriven, his team, which was promoted last season, is facing a tough battle against relegation. They have managed only six wins and three draws in 27 matches played so far.
