By , August 7, 2021

National Assembly Speaker Justin Muturi held talks with Narc Kenya Party Leader Martha Karua on Saturday, August 7 hinting at a possible political alliance ahead of the 2022 general elections.

According to sources close to the Speaker’s office, the two leaders who met at Village Market in Nairobi discussed regional unity, political and economic development of the region, and youth empowerment.

Sources say the two agreed on the need to bring together more leaders who support the welfare of the Mt Kenya region.

“Muturi, the National Assembly Speaker, sought the support of the Narc Kenya Party leader in forging a joint political agenda moving forward,” part of the statement from the Speaker’s office read.

After his instalment as Mt Kenya spokesman, Muturi intensified his lobby for the country’s top political seat.
