Thika city plans excite investors
By Oliver Musembi, March 23, 2023Investors in real estate are upbeat about Kiambu Governor Kimani Wamatangi’s plan to upgrade Thika to city status.
The planned city, they note, will come with improved infrastructure and more opportunities for wealth creation, jobs and business growth.
Harrison Murakaru, the chief executive of Buffalo Hills Golf and Leisure Estate says Wamatangi’s move will greatly transform the region as more investors are going to move in.
“We welcome the governor’s idea which is long overdue and ask the people of Thika to fully support it. People should not be misled by some leaders to oppose the plan,” he said.
