Revealed: How hundreds were mobilised and ferried for State House empowerment
Famous Bunge la Mwananchi politician Mjukuu wa Bunduki has revealed that they were dropped at State House as early as 4:00 am on the day of the empowerment forum.
Speaking during the Obinna Show Live, he explained that they had been instructed to assemble at the Deputy County Commissioner’s office by 3:00 am, where they were picked up and transported to State House.
The event, presided over by President William Ruto, was an empowerment forum for the Nairobi chapter that attracted large crowds from across the city.
According to Mjukuu, although he has been a fierce critic of the current regime, he still attended the meeting after submitting a proposal on issues he wanted addressed. He disclosed that the proposal had been presented to the relevant authorities, who advised him that the matter could only be tackled through the empowerment forum, hence his attendance at State House.

“tulitoka kwa nyumba 3.00am tukafika statehouse 4:30 am asubuhi, tulikuwa delegation ya watu 10, tukaingia kwa DCC, badge ikaletwa 3.00am ililetwa na bolt nikapewa nikawagawa, group yetu iliandika media equipment na hio ndio tulipewa.” Mjukuu stated.
He further mentioned that Omosh One Hour, a known supporter of the government, who was seen dancing and boasting of making his way to State House on that day, was also part of the group. According to Mjukuu, Omosh was part of his delegation, as his input had been included in the same proposal.
At 3:00 am, while still at the DCC’s office, the group received ten badges delivered by taxi. The badges were to serve as their passes into State House, matching the number of people in their team.

Entry time
Although they arrived at State House by 4:30 am, they only managed to gain entry at around 7:00 am due to the large number of attendees waiting to be cleared.
Mjukuu added that their group had been promised to be given media equipment as per their proposal, but was later shortchanged, with them being told that their details had not been captured, despite earlier assurance that they were in the system.

This comes days after the empowerment programme that was held in House which saw Nairobi walk away with goodies
