PSC, KSG and Nursing Council announce fresh job opportunities for Kenyans
By Sharon Atieno, July 21, 2026The Public Service Commission (PSC), Kenya School of Government (KSG) and Nursing Council of Kenya have announced fresh employment opportunities for qualified Kenyans.
The vacancies span public universities, government ministries and State departments, as well as senior management and professional positions in the nursing sector.
The opportunities were contained in an advert shared on the MyGov platform on Tuesday, July 21, 2026, with qualified applicants invited to submit their applications through the respective institutions’ official channels.
Public service vacancies
The PSC has advertised several vacant positions in the public service, including senior roles in public universities.
The vacancies include positions such as Vice-Chancellor, Deputy Vice-Chancellor and other senior academic and administrative roles.
The Commission also listed opportunities in ministries and State departments, as well as positions linked to the National Government Constituencies Development Fund (NG-CDF).
The PSC reminded applicants that all applications must meet the requirements set out in the respective job advertisements.
Nursing Council seeks professionals
The Nursing Council of Kenya has also advertised several vacancies as it seeks to strengthen its workforce.
The positions include Director of Corporate Services, Deputy Directors, registration and licensing officers and other professional roles.
The Council said it was seeking competent, committed and qualified professionals to join its workforce and support the regulation and development of nursing and midwifery practice in Kenya.
The vacancies include opportunities in areas such as nursing regulation, registration and licensing, training and corporate services.
KSG opens opportunities
The Kenya School of Government, which is mandated to build capacity in the public service, also featured in the latest employment opportunities.
The institution continues to play a key role in training and developing public servants as the Government seeks to strengthen efficiency and professionalism in public administration.
Applicants have been advised to carefully review the qualifications, experience and application procedures for each position before submitting their applications.
The Nursing Council said it is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity in the workplace, including the inclusion of women, marginalised communities and persons living with disabilities.
The PSC has also warned members of the public against fraudsters who solicit money while claiming to facilitate applications, shortlisting or appointments.
The Commission reiterated that it does not charge any fee for job applications, shortlisting or appointments.
