Bulgary in Murang’a

The Mtwapa incident came a day after Police officers from Ithanga Police Station conducted a successful operation targeting suspects linked to a series of burglary and house break-in incidents across Murang’a County.

Acting on credible information received from members of the public, the officers moved swiftly and raided the homes of two persons of interest believed to have been involved in criminal activities that have recently affected residents within the county.

During the operation, several household items earlier reported stolen at Ithanga Police Station were recovered, including mobile phones, assorted electronic devices and other household goods.

The complainants positively identified the recovered items as their property. However, according to the Police, the items have since been retained by the police as exhibits to aid in ongoing investigations and court proceedings, as the two are expected to be arraigned.
