Panic has gripped senior staffers, among them the chief executive of a parastatal, after the Directorate of Criminal Investigations officers came knocking at the agency earlier this week.

At least three previous CEOs of the parastatal have been dragged to court over graft-related offences and the staff believe it is just a matter of time before their CEO, his aides and some departmental heads suffer the same fate.
