Nyaribo wants workers to be contracted for effective result

Nyamira Governor Amos Nyaribo now wants all employees of his county government put under performance contracts.

The county boss announced that all employees would henceforth be subjected to performance contracts in a bid to hold them accountable on their input.

Nyaribo said that only this would enhance productivity and improve service delivery by employees who have been lethargic and developed apathy to their work.

The county boss expressed concern that chronic absenteeism and late reporting on duty by the employees has adversely affected the devolved government’s service delivery to the public.

Nyaribo subsequently declared total war against all employees involved in absenteeism and lateness, warning that his government has no space for individuals he said are out to sabotage his leadership in a bid to bring down his government.

Speaking at the county headquarters yesterday when he witnessed the signing of performance contracts by members of his county executive committee members for a period of one year, Nyaribo read the riot act to his CECs who would not meet their targets as per the contracts signed .

Nyaribo said his government has allocated enough resources, including vehicles and fuels to all departments to enable them effectively deliver services.
