Here is what you need to know to keep up to speed with today’s happenings.

Li Xi in Kenya

Li Xi, Member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee and Secretary of the CPC Central Commission for Discipline Inspection is in Kenya for a three-day tour.

Xi arrived in the country on Saturday, November 2, 2024, night, to start his tour.

Top government and the ruling United Democratic Alliance (UDA) Party delegation, led by Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi and Party Secretary General Hassan Omar, received Xi and his delegation at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA).

The top CPC leader will visit the UDA Party and hold bilateral talks with Omar before being hosted by President William Ruto on Monday, November 4, 2024.

FKF football action

A host of FKF Premier League matches are lined up for today Sunday, November 3, 2024, with the first one being an early kick-off match at 2:00 pm pitting Shabana FC and Nairobi City Stars at Gusii Stadium in Kisii.

Mathare United will then host KCB FC at Dandora Stadium, with the match expected to kick off at 3:00 pm.

Bidco United will also play Mara Sugar from 3:00 pm, at Machakos Stadium.

The match between Ulinzi Stars and AFC Leopards will close the Sunday fixture at 4:00 pm, at Kinoru Stadium.

Politicians in churches

As per their norm, political leaders will be flocking different churches across the country to worship.

Today being the first Sunday since Deputy President Kithure Kindiki was sworn in to replace Rigathi Gachagua, politics will play openly on the pullpit.
