Since his return to the country, the ailing MP has been receiving visits from various leaders, with National Assembly Speaker Moses Wetang’ula among the first to visit him at his Kwanza home, accompanied by a delegation of Ford Kenya leaders.

The speaker recently disclosed that the illness had taken a toll on Wanyonyi’s speech, leaving him unable to communicate effectively. He further revealed that arrangements were being made to provide the MP with a translator during critical parliamentary sessions that require his participation, ensuring he continues to effectively discharge his legislative responsibilities.
