Mudavadi’s step mother Rosebella laid to rest in Vihiga
By evans.maritim, December 18, 2021Mama Rosebella Mudavadi, the step mother of Amani National Congress (ANC) party leader Musalia Mudavadi, has on Saturday December 18, 2021 been laid to rest at Budira village in Sabatia constituency, Vihiga County.
Several leaders among them Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party leader Raila Odinga attended the burial ceremony.
Speaking during the funeral, Musalia eulogised Rosebella as a caring mother who took care of them when they schooled in Nairobi while his biological mother lived at the countryside.
“My father had two wives and he loved them equally until his death,” he told the mourners.

Musalia also weighed in on the political debate in the country saying unity and peace are important when Kenya is heading to 2022 general election.
“We need a peaceful 2022 general election. We do not want to hear that election has been stolen again. If I’m elected, I will be happy. If Raila is elected, we will support him,” he added.
Rosebella passed on peacefully on November 24 in Virginia, United States.
“It’s with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the death of Mama Rosebella Mudavadi, widow of the late Hon. Moses Mudavadi. My step mother passed away peacefully on Wednesday, Nov 24, in Virginia, USA. May she Rest in Peace,” Mudavadi wrote on Twitter immediately after her death.
One Kenya Alliance principals Moses Wetang’ula (Ford-K), Gideon Moi (KANU) and Kalonzo Musyoka (Musyoka) missed the burial ceremony in Vihiga.
