Morara Kebaso’s message to Kenyans calling for Ruto’s ouster

Inclusive National Justice, Economic & Civic Transformation (INJECT) party leader Morara Kebaso has cautioned the young people against making haste decisions without conducting their due diligence.
Issuing a statement in a video on Saturday, April 26, 2025, Kebaso implored the young people to take time and think before fronting someone for leadership in the 2027 presidential election.
He warned that impulsive decisions aimed at unseating President William Ruto will cost the country extensive damage that may not be reparable.
While calling for caution, Morara also urged Kenyans not to betray the Gen Zs who lost their lives during the June 2024 protests by allowing former corrupt leaders to take office.
“The way government works is that when you are removing Ruto he is immediately replaced by someone, if you didn’t think through who is this you are replacing him with, you would have put another Ruto five years in office. Its not that we will be given a chance as Kenyans to think for two or three months; there is never a vacancy in the Office of the President, so if you had not taken time to think who is replacing Ruto, then you can end up replacing the president with someone worse,” he said.

Adding;
“Young people who don’t know each other are fighting each other and pulling each other down because of old people who eat together, steal together and then pretend to disagree just to keep the young people entertained.”
Morara’s message to the Kenyan youth comes amid his continuous calls to shun tribalism ahead of the 2027 elections.
Barely a week ago, the set-proclaimed government accountability advocate shared that tribalism has played a significant role in denying Kenyans quality leadership because citizens are ready to vote for anybody from their tribe without counter checking their integrity and capacity to deliver.
He also hinted at forming an alliance that will bring together leaders of integrity.
“For a long time, tribalism has denied us an opportunity to get leaders in this country because people are ready to vote for anybody from their tribe without looking at the integrity of this leader and their capacity to deliver and their vision for this country.
“This time round, we are going to bring together a grand alliance of leaders of integrity who are not coming as kingpins of their tribe but as leaders ready to transform this nation. These leaders will raise an army of followers who are ready to vote beyond their tribe just by looking at the vision of this country,” Morara said.
