A legal officer at water services board in Rift Valley is contemplating going to court over alleged interference by a Cabinet Secretary over recent recruitment.

Sources say out of the 29 positions that had been advertised, 14 went to applicants fronted by the minister.

The lucky ones also happen to be members of his ethnic community. An applicant from a marginalised community in  Rift Valley who had been ranked high, was reportedly replaced with a blogger recommended by the CS.
