Man caught with human skulls denies charges

Detectives in Mombasa have arrested a man for being in possession of human skulls.

Tsuma Ndaro Tsuma, 20, was arrested yesterday following a tip-off from members of the public who witnessed him dig up graves in a public cemetery in search of human skulls and other witchcraft charms.

According to police the human skulls are believed to have been used in witchcraft practices within Mombasa.

The identity of the skulls are yet to be established and police will be seeking orders to have them preserved until the case is heard and determined.

Appearing before Mombasa, chief magistrate Martha Mutuku Tsuma was arrested at his hideout in Tudor Moroto Simitini area. He denied the charges and was released on a bond of Sh 200,000 and one similar surety with an alternative of Sh100,000 cash bail.
