Leaders tell UhuRuto to work together, foster national unity
Two Meru leaders have called on President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy William Ruto to work together in harmony for the sake of national unity.
Speaking during a tour of Tigania East Technical Training Institute, area MP Gichunge Kabeaba called on the two top leaders to ignore their political allies for the sake of the unity of the nation and Jubilee Party.
“There is a lot of friction right now as a result of the two political camps Kieleweke and Tanga Tanga.
We are asking the duo to ignore these political factions and work as a team for the sake of unity and implementing the Big Four agenda before 2022,” he said.
Separately Meru county Jubilee chairman Joseph Muturia said it will need the hand of God to save Jubilee from collapse.
“If Uhuru and Ruto will not come together and bring the house back on track soon, then it will only take the hand of God to save it from dying before we go to the next election, “ said Muturia.
