Kuria dismisses claims of eyeing Nairobi Gubernatorial seat

By , December 22, 2020

Gatundu South Member of Parliament(MP) Moses Kuria has dismissed as untrue, allegations that he is joining the race to replace impeached Nairobi Governor Mike Mbuvi Sonko.

Earlier on Tuesday, the PD Online relying on a Whatsapp conversation with Kuria highlighted that the outspoken MP was joining the race after his campaign poster flickered the internet.

In the conversation, the law maker was asked if he would resign as Gatundu South MP and replied “yes.”

However, Kuria now says he was not interviewed and that the conversation with PD Online was taken out of context. The PD Online has since learnt that Kuria is not interested in vying as Nairobi’s Governor at the moment.

In the poster that has since gone viral, Kuria is captured asking Nairobians to vote for him as the next governor on a People’s Empowerment Party ticket.
