KUCCPS invites applications for placement in KMTC and sets application deadline

Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) has invited interested candidates to pursue various programmes at Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC).

In a notice on Sunday, November 3, 2024, KUCCPS indicated that interested candidates can apply for the various courses up to November 10, 2024.

In the notice, KUCCPS has listed 29 programmes offered in different KMTC institutions nationwide.

Some of the courses include a Certificate in Community Health Assistant (C-), Certificate in Records and Information Technology (C-), Certificate in Kenya Enrolled Community Health Nursing, Certificate in Medical Emergency Technician (C-), Certificate in Medical Engineering (C-), Certificate in Orthopedic Emergency Technician (C-) and Certificate in Public Health (C-).

A certificate in Nutrition and Dietetics is also available to those with a mean grade of D+. A diploma for the same course is also available for those with a mean grade of C-.

Other diploma programmes are available in 15 other institutions across the country.

Some of the institutions are in Bomet, Bungoma, Embu, Garissa, Gatundu, Iten, Kakamega, Kakamega-Navakholo, Kapenguria, Kaptumo, Kerio Valley, Kisumu, Lugari, Machakos, Makindu, Mathare, Mbooni, Mombasa, Muranga, Muranga – Kangema Satelite, Mwingi, Nyeri, Port Reitz, Rera, Taveta, Thika, Ugenya and Voi.

How to apply

Interested applicants have been encouraged to apply through the KUCCPS students portal.

“Additional 2024/2025 admission slots available!. Interested persons should log into the KUCCPS Student’s Portal (http://students.kuccps.net) and apply before November 10, 2024,” the notice read in part.

Further, the placement authority has asked those who will encounter challenges to call the KUCCPS contact centre through the numbers 0205137400/0723954927 or visit the KUCCPS website at www.kuccps.
