The Coptic roundabout along the Kisumu-Kakamega Highway has been demolished following a tragic accident that claimed 26 lives.

Pictures seen by People Daily, on August 16, 2025, show a section of the roundabout covered with mounds of dirt and scattered debris, which now stand as a stark reminder of the crash.

The images depict the roundabout partially blocked by piles of earth, preventing motorists from using it.
