Kenyan politicians to film ‘JerusalemaChallenge’
A caucus of serving and former Kenyan politicians have been practicing to perfect their moves for the viral #JerusalemaChallenge.
A little birdie chirped to PD Online that a horde of them—some currently serving in both the Senate and National Assembly—are scheduled to film their challenge this coming Saturday.
The fete is reportedly slated to be held at the sparkling new Clinton Hotel in Kikuyu, Thogoto Township in Kiambu county.
The facility has organised a mega Mugithi Nite party on Saturday night that will be headlined by the sensational mugithi musician Samidoh.
The politicians are said to have hatched a plan to use that opportunity to film their Jerusalema moves, which will also form part of the hotel’s ongoing launch celebrations.
Murang’a Senator and Senate Majority Chief Whip Irungu Kang’ata, who is also expected to feature in the dance challenge, has been said to be the leader of that specific fun-filled congress.
“The main aim of the event is to unite people and revive the entertainment industry in the area and the entire Kiambu.
And nothing has the power to do that well than music,” a close confidant of Kang’ata said on phone.
