Top of the table Kayole Starlets are this weekend scheduled to play away to newcomers Ulinzi Starlets at Utalii grounds where they’ll be looking to keep the momentum going following a 4-0 win in their league opener against Mathare Women last weekend  in the Women’s Premier League.

Starlets coach Joshua Sakwa admits Ulinzi will be a tough nut to crack and says they are going for at least a point.

Sakwa says despite being debutants, the military side has experienced players.

“We are taking it one match at a time, but have set our sights on winning our home matches and fighting to pick at least a point while playing away. This will help us attain our goal of reaching the playoffs,” said Sakwa.

Despite the big win in the league opener,  the tactician maintains that the side was not operating at full potential and they have worked through the week to get better ahead of their second match.

“Our midfield was slow and we did not supply the ball to our strikers as effectively as we should have. Otherwise the scoreline would have been different.

We have worked on correcting that and are confident of a better showing,” he said, adding that their good preparations ahead of the season helped them manage the pressure of their first match.
