On matters ODM, Junet has confirmed that the party is united. Speaking shortly after the party convened a Central Committee on Monday, October 27, 2025, the Suna East MP said the particular gathering was meant to set the agenda for the future of the ODM party, even as members continue to mourn and celebrate the life of their late leader Raila Amolo Odinga, insisting on working with the Kenya Kwanza government ahead of the 2027 election.

ODM-UDA pact

”We remain united, steadfast and committed to the partnership between the ODM Party and UDA, and will continue to support the broad-based government under H.E. President William Samoei Ruto.”

“We have laid to rest The Rt. Hon. Raila Amolo Odinga in a befitting send-off honouring one who now joins the eternal guardians of our nation’s aspirations. In the lessons we learnt under him, ideas, courage, forthrightness and pragmatism will shape the future,” Junet said.
