Sudi’s threat to Gachagua

On Saturday, July 5, Kapseret Member of Parliament (MP) Oscar Sudi threatened former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua that his arrest was imminent.

Sudi said after the government is done with arresting and prosecuting the individuals linked to the violence and destruction of property during the recent demonstrations, Gachagua is next in line.

Wamunyoro naona umeenda incitement yako ya kawaida, umesema ati Susan ameomba Rais ati washike nani, sijui Mbarire ameomba Rais ashike nani. Hapana, hawa ndio walipanga demonstrations, ukiwa wewe ndio financier ya hiyo mambo yote ilifanyika. So wacha hiyo unasema ati sijui wamepangiwa kisiasa, sio siasa.

These comments by the MP who is allied to President William Ruto are set to attract reactions from leaders who are supporting Gachagua.

Recently, Gachagua dared the government to arrest him if indeed they believed he played a part in the violence witnessed.
