By , November 29, 2019

Joseph Irungu aka Jowie raised eyebrows on social media this morning when photos of his fiancee, or should is it safe to say ex-fiancee, and journalist Jacque Maribe mysteriously vanished from his Instagram timeline.

This came to his followers’ attention after a photo of him and unknown female was posted on his timeline with smiley emoji as the caption.
In the comment section, his followers seem to think that he is out of jail with some commenting on the issue of photos being deleted on his timeline.

Jowie seems to have deleted many of his Instagram photos bringing his posts on the social site to only 22.

Jowie and Maribe are accused of murdering 28-year-old Monica Kimani, a businesswoman, who was found dead in a bathtub on with her neck slit ear to ear at her apartment in Lamuria Gardens Apartment in Kilimani, Nairobi, on September 20, 2018.

This week, the court said Jowie’s bail application would be heard on February 13, 2020. He is set to spend his second Christmas behind bars.
