Embakasi East Member of Parliament Babu Owino has shared a message of encouragement to Kenyans as the nation joins the world in ushering in the New Year 2026.

In his message on Thursday, January 1, 2026, the youthful politician encouraged all sundry to push through their dreams and ambitions regardless of the challenges.

”As the year turns, our hearts turn to you. To the mother and father waking up before dawn, unsure how the day will provide, yet still choosing hope. To the young person searching for work, holding onto dreams that feel delayed but not denied,” Babu Owino wrote on X.

The lawmaker also reflected on the difficulties that came with the year 2025, adding that despite the hardships, many prevailed.

”To the patient lying in a hospital bed, fighting quietly, bravely, praying for healing and strength. To those who feel tired, forgotten, or overwhelmed, this message is for you. This past year may have tested you in ways words cannot fully explain. Some days were heavy. Some nights were long. Yet here you are; still standing, still breathing, still trying,” he added.

”That alone is strength. That alone is courage. May this new year bring gentler days. May doors open where walls once stood. May healing touch the sick, comfort reach the lonely, and opportunity find those who have waited so patiently,” Babu Owino proclaimed.

Turning a new page in 2026, Babu Owino wished Kenyans breakthroughs in different ways, adding that may the New Year carry light, strength, and renewed hope into the lives of Kenyans.

”May your efforts not be in vain, and may your tears water the seeds of better days ahead. To the struggling: you are seen. To the unemployed: your time is coming. To the sick: your life matters, and you are not alone. To every Kenyan: your resilience is powerful, and your story is not over. May it carry light, strength, and renewed hope into your life.” Babu Owino wrote.

Meanwhile, according to the latest survey by Infotrak, Babu Owino is among the most influential politicians in Kenya heading into the 2027 general election.
