It is a different kind of ball game altogether for the people of Kiambaa. The stakes are high as the various candidates have been bombarding them with campaigns over the past few weeks. Along the way they have received a bag of goods in assortments of caps, t-shirts and every other form of campaign regalia. Each day, the would-be residents and those able-bodied have been on the look out for the massive campaign trails to pass near their homes and in other instances they have had to follow the voice of the loud speakers to see how they can have a boost in their pockets and take something home from these eventful days
But for many, their hearts and minds are seemingly in utter despair afraid of the thought of voting a leader who will not be posed to serve their interests. Like a resounding gong promises have become a common sound to the constituents, as the various leaders put their best foot forward. It’s a bucket full of promises from the leaders, but the residents know which leader counts. They know who has walked and worked for them. They know one who has worked alongside their late MP Paul Koinange, championing the plight of the poor and the vulnerable, fighting for an equal distribution of bursaries and looking into the senior citizens within the constituency.
For the undecisive voter and those who are about to waste their vote in the wrong nest. Faulter not, for Kariri Njama is the man you should be attuned to. He is the man who has been in the background, getting down to work with the citizens, noting the gaps in health care and inequalities in education. For years, Njama has skillfully engaged with the citizens, chipped in where he can to educate some of the constituency’s brightest students, organized medical camps and even engaged the youth in fighting depression.
It would be a great pitfall if the people of Kiambaa fail to see that they have a worthy leader at their disposal who has walked and fought for his people for over fifteen years. He is no strange bedfellow to his future constituents as they have seen it from his nature and character to be a leader who is out to improve their social well-being.
Kariri Njama has never faltered in giving his support to a leader who was aligned to his ideals of being a change maker in his immediate environment. This is all the more reason why through his charitable projects, he has been able to sponsor numerous needy students and is on record to have sponsored the top 2020 KCSE candidate Robinson Wanjala Simiyu to join Murang’a high school who to his surprise performed excellently in his exams and stamping a promising future for himself and family. Did he know this? Not at all but Njama knew he is making possible the dream of another future leader.
What more could the people of Kiambaa want with such a selfless leader who is true to his word with his actions speaking louder. Kariri Njama is a man of the people and a man of his word and the people of Kiambaa have this one opportunity to secure a leader who will more than ever willingly pursue their interests. The people of Kiambaa must vote wisely by pegging their value on a leader who is committed to bringing forth positive change. Voting in Kariri Njama will not only show their appreciation for their own but will be an inspiration for more youth to give back to the community in a move in driving social change.
Following propaganda and hearsay will do the citizens no good and it is evident that Kariri Njama is the sole leader whose efforts have bore fruit for the residents of Kiambaa. This they have seen for themselves and with their vote will be better place to have Kariri Njama as their Member of Parliament as opposed to any other.
