‘I’ll make sure I fulfil commitments I made to Kenyans’ – Ruto
President William Ruto has vowed to fulfill every commitment he made to the people during his 2022 general election campaign.
Speaking in Kimana, Kajiado County, on Sunday, December 1, 2024, Ruto highlighted what he intends to achieve as per his promises.
One of the issues he addressed is equality in society, and the Head of State gave an example of how Jesus fought for the same in the community.
The same thing we want to do.

SHA defended
Ruto also defended the Social Health Authority (SHA), his government’s programme that has faced criticism since it was rolled out.
Affordable Housing, another programme that has been received with skepticism, was also fervently defended by the president.
“Haya mambo yote nilisimama hapa Kimana nikasema tutafanya mambo ya Affordable Housing, inaendelea, nilisema tutafanya mambo ya market, inaendelea, nilisema tutasaidia wakulima.
“Nilisema hii mambo ya afya ya kwamba ile NHIF tutabadilisha ndio hii inaendelea, because it is a contract I have with the people of Kenya,” Ruto continued.
He promised to fulfill everything he told Kenyans before he was elected president.
“And I have every intention to make sure that I fulfill the commitments that I made to the people of Kenya for the transformation of our nation,” he concluded.
