The wife of a governor is living large after allegedly defrauding a struggling women sacco in the city.

The flamboyant woman is on the spot for allegedly sinking more than Sh20 million of members’ contributions in what may soon turn out to be a mega pyramid scheme.

The money was swiftly withdrawn from the sacco’s accounts and vanished into thin air.

The woman is said to have presided over several fundraisers for the women’s sacco but decided to milk it dry through the aid of her relatives, whom she irregularly hired as man- agers.

The woman is said to have also breached employment laws by em- ploying up to 20 relatives.
