Government blames leaders over moral decay in the society

The government Spokesman Cyrus Oguna has accused a section of leaders for failing to set a good example to the young generation hence the moral decadence in the society.
Speaking to the press in Nairobi, Oguna said for a country to move to the next level, there must be a group of people that make that decision and they must be very wise.
“But we are seeing as a situation where some of the people we are looking up to provide us with wisdom or direction are the same people engaging in physical fights, name-calling and finger pointing,” said Oguna.
He said a country can never grow if all that its leaders share is shouts and fighting.
During the burial Kisii Deputy Governor Joash Maangi’s father, chaos erupted where South Mugirango MP Sylvanus Osoro fought with Dagoretti North MP Simba Arati in the presence of Deputy President William Ruto and ODM leader Raila Odinga. Oguna said such incidents could be the cause of school fires.
“It is no wonder schools are burning, parents are being attacked by their and vice versa, because no one is there to give direction,”he said.
