Gor Mahia star Enoch Morrison apologises to fans after humiliation by APS Bomet
Gor Mahia midfielder Enoch Morrison has sent a passionate appeal to club fans after the Football Kenya Federation Premier League record champions recorded one of their worst top-tier defeats against struggling APS Bomet on Tuesday, November 25, 2025.
K’Ogalo were thoroughly beaten as the FKF PL newbies convincingly walked away with a 4-1 triumph at the Nyayo National Stadium, recording their second victory in the current campaign in 11 matches at the expense of league leaders.
However, despite the humiliation, the Ghanaian midfielder has assured the K’Ogalo faithful that Charles Akonnor’s charges will bounce back to their winning ways when they face their arch rivals, AFC Leopards, on Saturday, November 29, 2025, for the Mashemeji Derby at Nyayo Stadium.

Day to forget
”Bad day at the office. This is what football is about. We apologise! We take it in good faith, @OfficialGMFC fans; don’t let this shake you, be proud of the team, nothing has changed. Go home and relax your mind; let’s come back to winning ways on Saturday. K’OGALO FOREVER,” Morrison said on Tuesday night, November 25, 2025.
Gor Mahia started brightly and drew first blood just five minutes into the contest through Ghanaian forward George Amonoo, who calmly found the back of the net to give the Charles Akonnor men an early advantage.
However, APS Bomet responded emphatically as Hansel Ochieng turned the game on its head with two quick goals in the 39th and 42nd minutes, sending his side into the break with a 2-1 lead. After the interval, APS Bomet maintained their dominance and extended their lead further with two late strikes in the 77th and 87th minutes, sealing an impressive and comprehensive victory over the record champions.

Crucial win for APS Bomet
The crucial win marked APS Bomet’s second triumph of the campaign and saw them climb off the bottom of the standings to second-from-last place with eight points, moving just one point clear of Kariobangi Sharks.
For Gor Mahia, the defeat reduces their momentum ahead of the Saturday, November 29, 2025, Mashemeji Derby, where K’Ogalo will lock horns with their eternal rivals, AFC Leopards.
The shocker also marked Gor Mahia’s second beating of the season after suffering a 1-0 defeat to Bidco United in their opening fixture in September.
