Gor Mahia captain Kenneth Muguna is set for contract talks with the club before the end of this week to determine whether he remains at the team or leave, after his contract expired at the end of last month.

The Harambee Stars midfielder who was handed the team’s arm band after returning to the club for a second stint from Albania side FK Tirana, has been in a sparkling form for the record league champions scoring eight goals and registering 13 assists from 20 matches.

“Currently I’m a free agent, but I’m yet to get offers from any team locally and out of the country, however, Gor bosses told me that we will have talks for a possible contract extension before the end of this week.

So before then I can’t tell if I will be playing for Gor next season or not,” said Muguna was voted the Most Valuable Player in the league in 2016 while playing for Western Stima.
