Asocial media war among supporters of a popular football club in the country erupted at the beginning of the week when it emerged the club requires Sh 12 million to cater for delayed salaries and allowances.

The club’s supporters, who are always vocal on social media, were furious after it emerged the elected officials have been unable to raise money for basic expenses, including players’ salaries.
