Five perish, several injured as vehicles collide along busy road

Five people died on the spot, while several others were seriously injured at
Sapache on the Samburu- Isiolo-Marsabit highway after two vehicles collided.
Confirming the incident, Samburu County Commissioner Abdirisack Jaldesa
said that one of the vehicles lost control after its tyre bust.
He said that the vehicles were taken to Wamba Police Station for inspection and the injured were rushed to Archers’ Post Health Centre.
He cautioned drivers to be careful during this festive season.
The bodies are being preserved at Wamba Hospital Mortuary.
