A Cabinet Secretary who appeared before a parliamentary committee recently amused MPs with her British accent.

The CS could hardly pronounce MPs names. For instance, she was unable to pronounce the name of Dagoretti South MP John Kiarie, and kept calling him Kaari, to his annoyance.

The lawmakers were wondering why the CS cannot even speak in Kiswahili, yet she was born and bred in Kenya.
